Emergency treatment is obviously necessary if you find that your dog suddenly
appears to be choking. It may
simply be a bone or splinter of
wood that can be seen at the back of the throat, in which case it can be
removed. If however, you cannot see
what has caused the problem it may
be because the foreign object has been embedded too deep in the dog’s throat.
In which case emergency treatment by a Veterinarian is essential.
