f the dog is bleeding from a wound and the bleeding is excessive then clearly the dog will need attention from a Veterinarian. If however, the bleeding is relatively little, then first of all clean the wound by flushing with water and then with a medicated cleaning fluid or mild medicate soap.

Then  stop the bleeding by applying soft towels.  You can then use  medication like  Betadine to control any possible infection.

Tyr and keep the wound clean and apply the Betadine again when necessary.
